Jesus is the true Prince of Peace
Jesus said, ‘LOVE your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, and greet those who are not your own.’ He said, ‘If you only love those who love you, what reward is there in that? Even tax collectors and pagans do the same. Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.’
Now, compare this with the saying of Muhammad found in Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2167a.
‘DO NOT greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads FORCE THEM to go to the narrowest part of it.’
Muhammad is instructing his followers to belittle outsiders. Jesus welcomes the outsider; Muhammad pushes them off the road.
Jesus taught grace, Muhammad taught superiority. Jesus dined with sinners and unbelievers, Muhammad said not to even greet them. Which message sounds like it comes from the God who sends rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous?
Muhammad’s lack of love and compassion shows he did not know God, as the Bible clearly states that anyone who does not love does not know God.
1 John 4:7-8
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:19-21
We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother or sister, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother or sister, whom he can see, cannot love God, whom he cannot see. And He has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother and sister.
Matthew 5:46-48
If you love those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. And if you greet only your own people, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that much. Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
The command from Jesus Christ is blunt: Loving God means loving people. Jesus also said that the first and greatest commandment of all is Love.
Jesus alone is the Prince of Peace, and where He reigns, peace rules.
Isaiah 9:6
He will be called Mighty God and Prince of Peace.
